Location
Location is the Susquehanna Flats region of the upper Chesapeake Bay. This is a prime fishery for Striped Bass.  Guided trips are also available on the lower Susquehanna River for Shad and Smallmouth Bass. Other locations may be suggested based upon the guest(s) interests and time allocated for an outing.

Points of debarkation
Guests are met at the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin which is minutes from prime fishing on either the Susquehanna Flats or Susquehanna River.  Directions will be provided.

Time
The time for the outing starts at the departure time agreed to by the guest(s) and Captain. Depending upon the season, early departures can prove very productive. Give Richard a call and tailor the trip to match your fishing interests.

Clothing
You should wear seasonal clothing and dress in layers to provide warmer clothing for early morning starts and plan to remove layers as the day warms up.  Bring some sunscreen as sunburns can occur even on cloudy days.  Please wear shoes that have non-marking soles.  Bring a good pair of polarized sunglasses and a hat or ball cap with a visor.  Its also a good idea to bring rain gear (top and bottom).

 Food and Drink
Full day booking includes lunch if requested. This includes sandwich or wrap, chips, and drinks. Special diet considerations should be discussed in advance. For half-day outings I provide light snacks and beverages. Feel free to bring food or drink of your own. Ice can be provided in a built in cooler on the boat to keep items cool. Space is limited. Please don't expect to bring a cooler on board.
